These terms are an agreement between you and ContactOne Inc. about using the ContactOne app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ContactOne on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.
ContactOne is distributed through the Apple App Store, and your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where those terms and ours conflict for matters Apple governs (such as billing and refunds), Apple's terms control. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
ContactOne offers a free tier and a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID at the price shown at purchase.
Use ContactOne only for lawful purposes and only with contact data you have the right to manage. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the app, and don't use it to violate anyone's privacy or rights.
ContactOne processes your contacts on your device. You are responsible for your contact data and for keeping your own backups. Merges, moves, and other changes are written through the iOS Contacts framework and can be reversed from the app's History while a record exists. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
ContactOne, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by ContactOne Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don't transfer any ownership to you beyond the limited license above.
ContactOne is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that duplicate detection will catch every duplicate, that every merge is exactly what you intended, or that the app will be error-free. Always review suggestions before merging.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ContactOne Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using ContactOne at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end the license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue after termination.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll revise the effective date above and, for material changes, note it in the app or on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
